The Biology Student Association (Himabio) Oryza Sativa of the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta successfully held its 2026 Training Organization (TO) on Saturday, January 17, 2026. Carrying the theme “Stepping Up the Role: Adaptation to Coordination,” the event aimed to enhance organizational capacity and develop professional, adaptive, and competitive student leaders.

The full-day event, held from 08:00 AM to 03:00 PM, commenced with an opening speech by the Head of the Biology Study Program, Mr. Fahri Fahrudin, M.Si., via an online platform. He highlighted the importance of human resource quality in maintaining a high-functioning student organization.

The workshop featured Hajar Indra Wardhana, S.Si., an esteemed alumnus and current Laboratory Technician Supervisor at PT. KalGen DNA (Kalbe Farma Group). Leveraging his extensive professional background, he delivered insightful sessions on critical thinking, decision-making, and the ability to distinguish between facts, assumptions, and opinions within an organizational context.

Participants were also introduced to systems thinking and the importance of mindfulness as a foundation for positive leadership. The speaker emphasized that self-discipline and self-awareness are essential components of leading others effectively.

Through the 2026 Training Organization, Himabio Oryza Sativa hopes that all members can implement the values of integrity, collaboration, and responsibility in their respective roles. This strategic initiative is expected to produce adaptive leaders ready to tackle the complexities and challenges of future organizational dynamics.
