In 2025, the institution recorded the number of female senior academic staff calculated based on Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) units to accurately reflect actual working hours capacity. This figure represents a subset of the overall senior academic staff, providing a specific overview of the proportion of female senior teaching faculty on campus.

The Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta is committed to fostering inclusive, gender-equitable, and globally competitive university governance.

Female senior academic staff—particularly those holding functional titles ranging from Associate Professor to Professor—play a strategic role as a primary pillar in advancing science and technology research, academic leadership, and the integration of Islamic and scientific values.

The FST UIN Jakarta Female Senior Staff Empowerment Program was organized to:

• Academic Career Acceleration: Assisting female lecturers in fulfilling credit point and portfolio requirements to achieve the highest functional academic ranks (Associate Professor and Professor).
• Enhancing Research & Publication Quality: Encouraging interdisciplinary research collaboration and increasing high-impact international scientific publication outputs (high-reputation Scopus/Sinta) led by female researchers.
• Strengthening Leadership and Management: Preparing female senior academic staff to take on strategic roles in leadership and governance at both faculty and university levels.
• Supporting Campus Performance Indicators & Rankings: Increasing the Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) proportion of female senior staff as part of fulfilling gender equality and sustainable governance indicators (such as THE Impact Rankings / Sustainable Development Goals indicators).

Programs aimed at producing female leaders, professors, or senior academics within the campus environment focus on empowerment, capacity building, mentoring, and formulating gender-responsive policies.
